Picasso and Matisse were two painters that drew two Women with a hat. They were born in the same era. Picasso was born in October the 25 1881 in spain. Matisse was born in December 31 1869 in france. Picasso and Matisse met in france and became life long mates.Although both Picasso’s ‘Weeping Woman’ and Matisse's Woman with a hat are portraits of women, they have different theme. The Picasso’s painting ‘Weeping Woman’ means war like sad, anguish, and suffering. Matisse' s theme was experimenting what was fauvism.
Matisse and Picasso use vibrant colors for his paintings they incorporate the same colors like light and dark. Matisse and Picasso and their cubism works are the best. They are known once again the best new vibrant colors by Pablo Picasso.
I really like Matisse because he has great styles. The reason why I like Matisse better is because Picasso's art is just weird and strange and also has too much detail. I just don’t like cubism.
