The first at school _ Tevita

Draft#2

Waiting nervously in the office with my nana  I said to myself,  “Man the schools in New Zealand are way different than in America.”  When we were in America we didn’t have to wear any uniform, but in New Zealand you do wear uniform. I noticed than in America has netbooks but New Zealand does.

Mrs Flavelle the office lady  walked towards me and said, “Good Morning how are you.” “ I’m fine thank you ” I replied nervously. “which classroom am I going to be in” I asked.  You are going to be in Room 16. So she  me took into Rm 16. I was too shy to go in.  My body was shaking like if there were a earthquake happening.

Mrs Flavelle called to me “Are you alright it’s okay they're nice kids.  I walked slowly into the class and sat down on the mat. Kids that knew was asking these questions “Are you from America,” “Did you come from the States.” “Yes I did come from the States” as I whispered to Mateo.

“WOOAH! that’s cool.” My teacher was Mr Somerville. He is kind, funny and sometimes dry. But most of all he is the best. He was the best teacher I ever had. He let us play outside, play on games, and let us watch movies.

RIIIIIIIIIING! as the bell rang. “Time for morning tea.”

My body was shaking like if there were a earthquake happening.  Mrs Flavelle said to me “Are you aright it’s okay they're nice kids. So walked inside the class and I sat on the mat. “Are you from America,” “Did you come from the States.” “Yes I did come from the States” as I said to the students.

“WOO AH! that’s cool.” My teacher was Mr Somerville. He is kind, funny and sometimes dry. But most of all he is the best. He was the best teacher I ever had. He let us play outside, play on games, and let us watch movies.

RIiNG! as the bell rang. “Time for morning tea” Mr Somerville said. “Do you have lunch” as Mateo said to me. Come let’s go and play outside.

Today we had 40 minutes to write about our first day at school. We are setting our goals for our self for the term
